Are there really software packages that I can pay for, download and and use to make money in the forign exchange market? I believe it is called ‘robot trading’ where I would let the software robot choose the options and either buy or sell according to the programmed strategy it contains. Is it for real, or is it a rip-off? It seems they cost about $ 150.00.

I’m slowly getting involved in day trading. I’ve interviewed a few day traders that I know, I’ve done a lot of research, now I want to do it (paper trade, at least, for now).

Hello i want to trade options but my software gives me a long position on a specific instrument and i don’t know how to calculate the option’s prices. For example:
Instrument: AFSI
Long: 11.55

Answer by BumblebeeIt doesn’t sound like your program is offering options trading, nut short and long selling. Long and short selling is different.

Question by Runey: What is the best phone for day trading / option trading with live quotes?
I am a pretty aggressive stock trader and currently use charles schwabb optionetics. It no longer works on my office computer due to firewall restrictions. I currently have a blackberry 8320. I basically need a phone that can get live quotes and can have an program meant for the phone to trade. If you can think of a software instead, that would be great as well! Thanks for the help!

Question by no_nick: Where can I get an options trading journal?
I need a journal to keep track of my trades. The ones I found on the net are only for stocks, and I only trade options! Most of them are an Excel spreadsheet, which is fine. Some of them are paid software.
Does anybody have one or know where I can find one? Better yet if it’s free!
